Hughes&Modoni are excited to announce their next monthly concert in partnership with the London School of Piano. Our August concert features the dynamic duo of Alberto L. Ferro and Brian Hughes, both teachers at LCSP.

Alberto L. Ferro is a pianist and composer who blends classical forms with modern grooves. His solo piano albums, “North of the River” (2020) and “The Deep End of Sound” (2018), mix polyphony, counterpoint, and thematic development with jazz and rock/folk vibes. His latest release, “Rough Edges: Improvisations” (2023), dives into free-form improvisation.

Alberto's discography also includes “Scarlatti / Chopin” (2021), featuring classics with a twist, and an original arrangement of U2’s “Van Diemen’s Land.” He's also a dedicated piano teacher specializing in classical music, improvisation, and composition.

Catch Alberto Ferro live, performing his unique compositions and some jazz standards, accompanied by vocalist Brian Hughes. The concert will also be live-streamed to all members and followers of the London Contemporary School of Piano.
